THE KMB FOUNDATION
BARBECURE is the philanthropic arm of Lillie’s Q. Rooted in family and community, Lillie’s Q created Barbecure as a means to positively impact and give back to families and communities dealing with the hardships of cancer. Barbecure’s corporate gift-giving program raises funds through events, specialty product sales and donations.
Funds raised will be granted to The Katherine McKenna Brother’s Fund (KMB), started by Chef/Owner Charlie McKenna and his family after his aunt lost her seven-year battle with breast cancer in 2000. The KMB foundation provides scholarship money for female biology students at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, Katherine’s undergrad alma mater.

SOUTHERN STYLE BARBEQUE
What began as a place to serve award-winning barbecue has evolved into a series of Southern inspired sauces, kettle chips, rubs, and more sold across the country. McKenna and Lillie’s Q have garnered critical praise and awards from national media – including being named “Best New BBQ Restaurant in the Country” by Food & Wine magazine and earned the top prize for pork shoulder at Memphis in May 2016, their second 1st place finish at Memphis in May. The recipe for each Lillie’s Q product is created exclusively by Chef Charlie and pays homage to his Southern heritage.
