Join Chef Charlie McKenna and other notable Chicago Chefs for our 2nd Annual Barbecure event on April 16, 2020 at Goose Island Barrel House. Funds raised are donated to The Katherine McKenna Brother’s Scholarship Fund as well as The Lynn Sage Foundation. Along with the opportunity for guests to taste each Chef’s ribs, guests will also enjoy food provided by Lillie’s Q, beer by Goose Island and a silent auction.

World-renowned chefs and BBQ pit masters are taking over the Weber restaurant to execute an experimental, prefix menu that pushes the boundaries of standard BBQ; incorporating cultural flare, creativity, and food you wouldn’t have expected off the grill. This BBQ Master Class will include panel discussions with Weber Grill Head Grillmaster Kevin Kolman, Weber Grill BBQ Experience Manager and Culinary Grillmaster Dustin Green, as well as some of the nation’s top barbecue experts including Six Time BBQ World Champion and BBQ Hall of Famer Tuffy “The Professor” Stone; Two Time Memphis in May World Champion, Charlie McKenna from Lillies Q (Chicago, IL); Harry Soo from Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ, who will be joining us for the fourth year; Nick Liu, Chef/Owner of DaiLo (Toronto); Russell Roegels from Roegels BBQ (Houston, TX); John Brotherton from Brotherton’s Black Iron BBQ/Liberty BBQ (Texas); Duce Raymond, Chef/Owner of Sweet Baby Ray’s (Wooddale, IL).  World Class Photographer, Robert Lerma will be here to catch all of the weekend festivities.  BBQ Experts subject to change.
